Pakistan is passing through the period in which dairy sector has become top priority not for government but also for investors. A lot of initiatives are being undertaken for the development of this sector both in public and private sectors. Due to rapid development, it seems within no time this sector will be transformed into a viable industry. Pak Dairy Info is an innovative idea in dairy sector of Pakistan. The website contains a wealth of information regarding dairy farming. Besides providing an overview of the dairy sector of Pakistan, this gives a compilation of various aspects of dairy farming i.e. dairy breeds, selection of animals, housing, management, nutrition and feeding, reproduction and breeding, health, quality milk production and feasibility studies. A lot of effort has been made to put together such comprehensive information in a single compendium. A good addition is the directory having information regarding institutes, organizations, and entrepreneurs engaged in day farming. I appreciate the team who have burnt mid night oil to give such a beautiful gift to the sector. I hope this website would not only be of immense value to those involved in the development of dairy sector in Pakistan but also useful to attract international investors towards the dairy sector of Pakistan.
